A seven day journey with guided hiking tours for people of all ages. Off the beaten track of the Turkish west coast´s tourist centers, we arrange 'easy hiking' through extensive olive groves, through sleepy anatolian villages, along antique city walls and on ancient cobblestone roads to the objects of interest in this very old cultural landscape.
Antique temples, nekropoles, byzantine monasteries, fresks painted by early christian monks and eremit caves serve as picnic spots on the tours.
Rock paintings dated back to the stone age testifies the ancient history of cultur of the Latmos Mountains around the Bafa lake.
Please do not use flashes to take pictures of the rock painting !
On two days of the journey no hiking is scheduled. These days can be used to visit the market of the district town Milas or for an excursion to an antique site such as Ephesus, Milet, Priene or Dydima. These additional offers can be arranged in agreement upon you with the Agora team at your request.
